The reason we exist is to help people be good stewards of God’s abundant resources. Let’s talk about the beliefs in this statement.
First, we exist to help people. Rather than taking advantage of people or squeezing what we can out of people, we believe that helping people will offer the greatest reward to all parties when we do business. While some may believe that the only way to be successful in business is to take advantage of others, we reject this belief as short-sighted and inaccurate. Of course, people might not say this out loud, and surely would not publish their thoughts on it, but it is an underlying belief that far too many people have. We believe that adding value to others will create an environment where we will over the long term have value added to us also.
Second, we believe that blessings come from God and that these resources are abundant. A few things that come to mind are personal strengths and abilities, sunlight, profits or income, and a strong organization. Here we believe that we have an incredible team that is an abundant resource for our company and for our clients. Your resources may differ from ours (they likely do), but think about how God has provided you with abundant resources.
Thirdly, we are to be good stewards of these abundant resources from God! A good steward manages and cares for things in such a way to improve it, glorify God, and make people and things around him better. Because this is important to us, we have taken the consulting approach in our client relationships, rather than a “sales” approach, which assumes that solar is for everybody. We work to determine what is best for you. If we see that solar is not in your best interest, we will surely offer that input to you, and if we see that a solar investment would be especially great stewardship, we will communicate that as well. And we always seek to set an example of stewardship in our decisions as an organization.
