Messick’s Farm Equipment, a leading provider of agricultural machinery and services in central Pennsylvania, invested in solar energy to enhance operational efficiency and reduce energy costs. We had the privilege of installing a 1.07 megawatt (MW) roof-mounted solar system at their corporate headquarters in Mount Joy, Lancaster County.
The Project Highlights
This commercial solar installation at Messick’s Farm Equipment comprises over 2,200 solar panels strategically placed on the facility’s rooftop using a ballast mount system. The system is projected to offset nearly 100% of the annual electricity usage at this facility, resulting in significant cost savings.Â
