Levin Furniture Installs 1 MW Rooftop Solar System

ANNUAL ENVIRONMENTAL OFFSET
824.3 tons of CO2 or offsetting 19,184 trees

Levin Furniture, a family-owned home furnishing retailer, installed a 1 MW solar system on the roof of their warehouse and corporate headquarters in Smithton, PA. 

The 2,500 solar panels make this system the largest of any retail company in Western Pennsylvania. This system will generate 70% of the annual electricity usage at this facility. “We’re proud to have completed this latest solar system,” said Company Chairman, Robert Levin. “This project continues our investment in the company and adds to several important environmentally responsible practices at Levin’s.”
