Consultative Commercial Sales: What the Job Entails

Commercial and Agricultural Solar with a Dash of Residential: You will be selling high-value, complex solutions to business owners, farmers, and C-suite executives.

    Build trusted relationships with local business leaders, farmers, and nonprofits. Your role is to help people understand solar and guide them through the sales process to a smart investment decisions.

    $80K–$100K base, offset by commissions with no cap, plus bonus opportunities.

What It Isn’t:

 

  • Not a desk job
    This is an outside sales role that requires meeting people, building relationships, and growing your local presence.
  • Not residential door-to-door sales
    You won’t be knocking on homeowners’ doors. Instead, you’ll proactively reach out to business leaders, farmers, and other decision-makers to build opportunities and referrals through strategic and relationship-based outreach.
  • Not high-pressure sales
     No pushy tactics. No one-size-fits-all solutions.
  • Not a solo grind 
    You’re independent, but supported by marketing, estimating, project management, and leadership. We’re all working together to help our customers and team be successful.

Warren joined Paradise Energy more than ten years ago as a Solar Consultant and has since grown into a leadership role overseeing our sales teams in Delaware, Maryland, and Virginia, along with our corporate marketing team.

Outside of work, Warren enjoys training for triathlons and other endurance events, as well as scuba diving.
