PENNSYLVANIA FURNACE, Pennsylvania – Paradise Energy Solutions will debut the first permanent solar installation at this year’s Ag Progress Days, August 18-20. The 2.65 kW (kilowatt) ground mount solar system, which consists of 10 solar panels and 1 inverter, will be will installed at Paradise Energy Solutions’ booth location.

The solar system will be actively producing electricity at the show and is estimated to produce 3,298 kWh (kilowatt-hours) per year. The yearly production is equivalent to powering 30% of the average annual usage of a home in the United States.

Agricultural solar installations have become extremely popular in the past several years, as solar installations can provide some great benefits, such as depreciation and a federal tax credit.
