SALISBURY, Maryland— Paradise Energy Solutions has installed the Salisbury’s first solar carport at their office, 436 Snow Hill Road. The 24.5 kilowatt (kW) solar system consists of 98 solar panels and is expected to produce 30,425 kilowatt hours (kWh) per year. The carport’s multi-purpose use of producing electricity, keeping cars protected from the elements, and keeping cars cool during the summertime is a growing trend in many areas of the country. Paradise Energy Solutions has installed another solar carport in the past month at Warrener’s tavern in Freeland, Maryland.
To celebrate and showcase the solar carport, Paradise Energy Solutions is planning a solar celebration day on July 18 from 9AM-3PM at the office in Salisbury. Solar presentations will be given throughout the day with Q&A times, a cornhole yard game will be set up for entertainment, and a free grilled lunch will be provided.
Paradise Energy Solutions also plans to install an electric charging station underneath the solar carport in the near future.
