What we are looking for in a Foreman/Solar PV Installer

You Should Be:

  • A strong Foreman-level leader, with the ability to effectively motivate those you lead

  • A self-starter, with a creative mindset and eagerness to learn and embrace challenges

  • A team player, with the ability to effectively communicate with others

  • Able to read drawings and apply NEC code requirements

  • Able to travel and be away from home overnight during the week, as needed

  • Excited about solar energy and its future

 

 

You Should Have:

  • A track record of meeting/exceeding goals, both safely and efficiently

  • Experience in various types of construction, ideally in roofing and/or electrical work

  • A valid driver’s license, with a good or clean driving record

  • OSHA 10, First Aid & CPR training and certification, or willingness to obtain

  • An Associate’s degree or certificate from a trade school, or equivalent experience

Position Overview

 

As a Foreman/Solar PV Installer, you will be a key part of our team and provide leadership for and direct the work efforts of a crew of two to three individuals, to install ground-mount and roof-mount solar systems on our customers’ job sites, including site preparation and both mechanical and electrical work related to the installation of those systems. Foreman/Solar PV Installers are highly valued members of the Paradise Energy Solutions’ team, and they are an integral part of helping us continue to build our reputation as being industry-leading experts in solar energy and one of the “Best Places to Work in PA.”
